Sanctuary Worker Vacancies

Work involves the care of over 230 rescued animals including sheep, goats, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and other rescued and free living animals

We are currently interviewing for a number of vacancies at our vegan sanctuary in North County Meath in Ireland. The successful applicants will become part of our team that cares for over 230 pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, sheep, goats and cows.
Ideal applicants will have previous relevant experience and regard working on a vegan sanctuary as a passion, rather than a job.
You need to be fit enough to walk the fields several times a day checking on the animals, and capable of carrying out the necessary tasks to ensure they have food and water, and clean out houses and barns daily. Work also involves assisting with health care and veterinary visits. Applicants need their own transport and must be flexible enough to fit their working hours around the animals’ needs.
In return, we offer a good wage starting at €14 an hour.
Eden offers a very pleasant working environment on a state of the art sanctuary. It is a privilege to be a part of the lives of the animals who have been rescued from exploitation and slaughter and found their home at Eden. Getting to know the personalities and histories of farmed animals is probably the nicest aspect of our days.
To apply please complete the application form at the link below and return it by email to info@edenfarmedanimalsanctuary.com. Candidates will be short listed for interview.

Note: this is a vegan sanctuary and staff are required to respect our ethos whilst at work. Animal products including food and animal clothing are not permitted onsite.
